1. Introduction

Welcome to Motorboy! These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our platform for bus ticket booking services. By using Motorboy, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Booking Process

  • To book a bus ticket, select a ticket from the featured tickets list or search for tickets by selecting your desired departure town, date, and time, and destination town.
  • Enter your personal details and generate a booking message, which you will send to us via WhatsApp.
  • We will confirm your booking and provide you with a tracking number to follow the booking’s progress on our app.

3. User Responsibility: Valid and True Personal Information

  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date personal information during the registration and booking process.
  • Motorboy reserves the right to verify the personal information provided for security and authentication purposes.
  • Providing inaccurate or false personal information may result in delays, cancellations, or disruptions to your bookings.
  • Motorboy may take appropriate legal actions if you violate this requirement.

4. Payment

  • Payments are accepted exclusively through MTN Mobile Money.
  • Make payments directly to the Tickets237 Mobile Money account registered under the MTN Mobile Money phone number: 678149836.
  • Always keep a copy of your transaction confirmation.
  • For payment disputes, contact our support team at support@motorboy.com with transaction details.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Bus ticket cancellations and refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective bus operators. Please refer to their policies for more information.
  • Cancellation Timeframe:
  • Tickets can be canceled up to a certain number of hours before the scheduled departure (2 or 3 hours).
  • Cancellations made closer to the departure time may not be eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds:
  • Full refunds may be provided if the ticket is canceled within the allowed timeframe.
  • Partial refunds might apply for cancellations closer to departure.
  • Some agencies may charge a cancellation fee plus transfer fees .
  • Rescheduling:
  • Instead of canceling, passengers may be allowed to reschedule their journey to a later date without additional charges if done within a specific window.
  • Non-Refundable Tickets:
  • Tickets bought at discounted rates or promotional offers may be non-refundable.
  • No-Show Policy:
  • Passengers who fail to show up at the boarding time may forfeit their ticket without a refund.

6. Changes and Amendments

  • Any changes or amendments to bus tickets may be subject to additional fees or charges.
  • Requests for changes should be made by contacting our customer support.

7. Liability

  • Motorboy acts as an intermediary between you and the bus operators. We are not responsible for any delays, accidents, injuries, or damages incurred during your journey.
  • We are not liable for any disputes arising between you and the bus operators.

8. Privacy

  • We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Cameroon.
